J
odi Baxter is anticipating the holiday season. Her children, Amanda and Josh, will be home for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Of course, Jodi will also get
decked out
to celebrate with the Yada Yada's - a curious, multicultural group of women that only God could bring together. However, Jodi isn't prepared for the changes that are about to occur.
A
fter having her purse stolen and suffering an ankle injury, it's difficult for Jodi to carry out the holiday preparations she had planned. She hadn't anticipated wedding plans being thrown into the mix. Fellow Yada member Edesa is engaged to Josh. They had planned to marry after finishing college. Their plans change after Carmelita (a resident at Manna House, a women's shelter) is found dead. Fortunately, Jodi has her Yada sisters to help. Along with the wedding, they will also celebrate the return of two sisters who have been overseas.
T
his is the seventh, and final, episode in the
Yada Yada Prayer Group
series. While it's not required, it may be helpful to have read the prior books first. This book is filled with numerous spiritual themes (especially forgiveness) and referenced to God's ability to change lives. Included are a variety of recipes and celebration ideas (for Thanksgiving, Advent and New Year's Eve
Watch Night
).
