Ex Navy Seal Caleb is being shunned by his Amish family, who live near the cave. Archeologist Dr. Claire Cassidy was identified as the expert consultant needed to ensure that historical artifacts are kept intact. Caleb has had trouble locating her and their first encounter is when she is out fly-fishing. Claire finally signs on to the hunt when Caleb proves that Jinx incorporated is a responsible company. The sparks ignite between them immediately, but Claire almost scares him off by saying she wants his baby. Cajun healer Tante Lulu makes an appearance as a birthday surprise to LeDeux, another man helping with the hunt. Tante Lulu feels the heat between Caleb and Claire right away and knows that one of her famous hope chests is getting ready to be made. She also works with Claire to reunite Caleb with his Amish family. Pearl Jinx, the second in this series following Pink Jinx, is another keeper from Sandra Hill. She has a flair for creating stories with humor and hot romance that keep you reading. Claire is a colorful character who keeps Caleb hopping, while in the background Tante Lulu works her magic. Caleb has been hurt by his family in the past and seeing them again brings back many memories. Can he work through his family problems with Claire's help?
