Hana masquerades on the Internet under a variety of identities, to communicate anonymously with fellow students and with a teacher at school, telling them what she thinks they want to hear.

n Volume 1 of this engrossing and well drawn manga series, Hana signed up at the
Make5Wishes
website - against her imaginary friend's advice. Soon afterwards, a red devilish creature, entered her life and began to grant wishes, with disturbing outcomes. Though the wishes were granted, there was serious collateral damage.

ow, in Volume 2, Hana's demonic friend Romeo continues to spread havoc in and around her life, as he embodies the saying, '
be careful what you wish for
'. A tragedy after he snitches on her Internet roleplaying leaves Hana popular - but for the wrong reasons - and feeling permanently aflame.

vril Lavigne's Make 5 Wishes
is an exciting series - mixing real-life teen angst with touches of fantasy and horror - that gains momentum in this episode. Devastated by the results of her wishes, a chastened Hana decides to make things right - as much as she can - leading to a cliffhanger of a conclusion.
