Wedding planning can be a dangerous business. Not in the normal run of things, but when Annabelle Archer is involved, life is sure to get tricky. And if solving murders is in the list of jobs to be done, then Annabelle is up to the task. Never mind that the hunky police lieutenant would prefer that she keep her nose stuck in her own business.

Annie considers the murder of three wedding planners very much her business – it's the business she's in. Makes sense to her that someone active in the wedding scene in Washington, D.C. would know more than the police could unearth. The mystery itself is gripping. The characters are more than fun – especially Richard and Fern, both men necessary in their chosen professions when planning the big day.

Some of the anecdotes about bridezillas and mothers-of-the-bride are so crazy to have to be true to life - especially since author Laura Durham is a real life wedding planner. To Love and to Perish, the third in the Annabelle Archer series, is altogether a fun book that is hard to put down. A true delight.
