llie, Pam, Maggie and Toni set up a weekly WWW (
Women Watching Weight
) Club in Dublin, hoping that it will help them lose weight together. But they use their weekly session as a gabfest about their lives and the weight issue takes a backseat.
M
aggie is in a relationship with and accountant who is a dud, Ellie is unhappy in her job as a nanny, Pam's sons want to visit their father, and working as a nurse at the retirement home, Toni only meets men over seventy. The foursome decide on a friendly game, in which the first member to lose seven pounds will have a date set up by the other three. As the weeks wear on, Toni finds herself dating a wealthy married man who is the son of a patient in the retirement home. Ellie finds a new job as a nanny where the single father is rather attractive. Maggie becomes increasingly unhappy with her boyfriend, and Pam needs to deal with being without her sons while they visit their father.

he WWW Club
portrays four women in their thirties who pull together to form a support system for each other. While these individuals seem very different, they form a unique bond that will help them through some hard times. Anita Notaro writes a great story with sensitivity and humor.
