When she steals out one night to clear her head, she meets a man who seems familiar to her and whose soothing voice calms her. Sir Robert Logan, a Knight Templar, gave up his heritage to his family years before after a disagreement with his father. He has sworn to his grandfather to protect the Templar treasure; he has no time to fall in love with Adela. Then, though someone is trying to steal the treasure, when Adela is accused of murder, Rob feels he needs to protect her. Knight's Treasure is written with such detail that you feel like you are in the castle or riding along in the search for the treasure. Adela is a feisty character who keeps Rob on his toes, but he is so smitten with her that he can't stay mad at her antics. Amanda Scott has a knack for writing wonderful historical stories that keep readers enthralled.
