She has barely begun looking for a job when her Uncle Will suggests she work for one of his old interns. The glamorous job of being a party planner is now Bette's. Her new job requires her to seek VIPs and hang out with them. She is soon horrified to find herself in the gossip pages, connected to one of the biggest playboys, Philip Weston.

Not only is the job cutting into her love life but the gossip pages have reached her hometown, where her parents are not too happy about her choices. The people that she works with are fake, into drugs, and will stop at nothing to meet VIPS to create a successful party.
