eredith's dad is a convicted sex offender who has molested half the kids in town, including Meredith who testified against him. Now he is being paroled and her mother wants them to be a family again. She's even rented him a condominium in the same complex where she and Meredith live.
M
eredith has some allies in the complex. There is eighteen-year-old Andy who was also molested by her dad as well as the retired police officer who arrested him, but she alone worries about being raped again. Meredith's grandmother wants Meredith to live with her, but Meredith won't leave. If she does, she won't be able to live with the guilt of turning him loose on someone else.
L
aura Wiess has written a dark psychological suspense that draws you in and keeps you hooked. The saddest part is knowing that there is truth behind the story.
