T
his very small book (filled with cartoons of very large farts) will be enjoyed by boys of all ages - and I have to admit that it made me chuckle too. The author, Steven Appleby, is a leading cartoonist whose work appears in major U.K. newspapers.
A
ppleby takes us farting all around the world - and even into space - with all kinds of noises - from
HISS
(the doggy version),
OINK!
, and
POP
(the infant fart) to
TOOT
(the bovine version) and
BLAM!
(an explosive fart). You have to love the '
après curry fart
'. There's a remarkable set of pictures of the fart production process, followed by suggestions for fart-collecting equipment, and a set of '
specially absorbent pages
' so that you can collect celebrity farts to sell on eBay.
L
ooking for a funny, slightly shocking stocking stuffer for someone with a Brit sense of humor? You won't go wrong with
