his is an intriguing mystery by Kristen Heitzmann, who has a gift for romantic suspense. The first half is interesting, exciting, and keeps the reader guessing as to what will happen next. The development of a relationship between Cameron and Jade is believable and heartwarming. The Hawaiian setting is fantastic. The descriptions of the land, the people, and the food make you feel you are experiencing the tropical paradise firsthand.

fter the first half, the plot begins to drag somewhat. When the mystery is solved, it doesn't seem that it should have taken almost 500 pages to conclude. However, there is enough action and adventure to keep the reader engaged throughout the story, while the spiritual element of the plot is well-integrated and not obtrusive. The characters' spiritual journeys are superbly handled. Overall,
Freefall
is thrilling romantic suspense that fans of Kristen Heitzmann and mystery novels should be sure to read.
