T
he novellas featuring Gideon, Maggie, Sarah, and Hannah have warmed hearts each holiday season. Each book has a character striving to overcome a particular obstacle and difficult circumstances.
The Red Gloves Collection
compiles all of these books into a beautiful hardcover making the stories easily accessible so they can be experienced again and again.
G
ideon's Gift
follows Gideon, a young girl struggling through leukemia. After she meets a homeless man, a gift of red gloves changes both of their lives. In
Maggie's Miracle
, a little boy asks for a father for Christmas. His mother Maggie's concern leads her to find him a mentor, Casey, and relationships grow between all of them.
S
arah's Song
explores the life of eighty-six year old Sarah, in a nursing home, trying to make her last days meaningful. She shares her life story with Beth, and the telling helps each of them in different ways. The final book,
Hannah's Hope
looks at a little girl who feels abandoned by her political parents and discovers that her true father is actually in the military. Their discovery of each other brings healing to everyone involved.
E
ach story originally included ideas for
Red Gloves
projects, and these are consolidated at the end of
The Red Gloves Collection
. Ideas are offered for helping the homeless, children without intact families, those in nursing homes, and people in the military. A light Christian Christmas message is included, but is not obtrusive. This collection is uplifting - perfect to share with the entire family during the holiday season - and would also make a wonderful gift.
