According to the back cover, 'Grill! is full of fresh ingredients, old favorites, and daringly new foods', with over 80 recipes from starters to main courses, salads to desserts. The cookbook 'Shows you how to achieve perfectly cooked food on the grill and on the grill pan.' What more could a griller want?

Don't miss the Introduction. It's written without bias but with a sense of humor. The word barbecue is dissected as well as explained. A section of Grill! is devoted to tips on successful and safe barbecuing. Don't ignore these suggestions as the tips are good ones and will play a big part in your grilling. The authors bring years of experience to their cookbook. Pippa, from New Zealand, is now a food writer in London, after working in the test kitchen of Nestle New Zealand. Lindsay, a food journalist in Canada, also worked in test kitchens for several different magazines. Together they have presented Juice!, Ice Cream!, Soup!, and now Grill!.

The enticing and scrumptious looking recipes read invitingly. I am looking at a photo of Asparagus Wrapped in Prosciutto! Never would have thought of doing that let alone grilling it. Even though it is at the moment breakfast time, I'd dig right in. Eggplants with Pomegranate! Now, I ask you? Here are Italian-style sandwiches, one of my favorites. Flatbreads with Lamb and Tzatziki work for me. Don't know Tzatiki? Look on Page 169 and all is explained. Pork Ribs with Mustard Bourbon Sauce! Wow! Here are some of the best grilling recipes I've seen.

Now is the time to acquire a copy of Grill! while the barbecue season is upon us. You won't regret it.
