L
ily Crandell - the younger sister in
I Do (But I Don't)
- is well-known in her family as someone who attracts trouble. In her latest adventure, she eloped with a well-known rock star. His career has taken off while their marriage went down the toilet. When news of his new love interest hits the tabloids, Lily's drive for revenge goes into full gear. She ends up in trouble when one of her payback escapades goes bad. Using her sister's passport, Lily hightails it to London to visit her old friend Carter. A doctor, he can get Lily a volunteer job at the hospital - which she hopes will appease the courts, since she was ordered to do community service.
C
arter - Lily's old boyfriend - keeps saying that she needs rebound sex to get over her ordeal. He is furious when he finds out that she left the country without telling her lawyer. To make matters worse, his boss Brigid at the hospital has taken a liking to him. She steals Lily's wallet (and passport), making it impossible for her to return to the States. Helpless to break up with Brigid, Carter ends up dating her again. Since Brigid feels threatened by Lily's just being there, she creates more trouble for her. Not only is Lily being tortured by Brigid, but she also has problems with London's star soccer player, Sean Gates, who keeps hitting on her.

ara Lockwood has a hot one in
I Did (But I Wouldn't Now)
. The quirky characters are hilarious and the storyline of a jilted wife getting her revenge is priceless. When Lily starts having feelings for Carter again, you feel for her as she watches him with another woman. I enjoy reading all of Cara Lockwood's books, which are now on my
