owners disappear with oodles of cash, leaving Charlie and the other employees in a bind. Not only are the police investigating Charlie for fraud, but Lauren wants him to dump the new career even though she doesn't have a moment to spend with him. imon Brooke keeps the reader's attention, portraying characters (Charlie and Lauren) who face a big change in their lives with new careers - readers wonder whether, as they grow, will they still stay together? is a great story, melding mystery and romance with humor that will make you smile throughout.
