Former Hong Kong Judge Wayne Gould created the brainteasers in this book, which also appeared daily in The Times. Wayne Gould offers tips on how to solve this sort of puzzle, then presents them according to difficulty - Easy, Mild, Difficult, and Fiendish. The objective is to fit every digit (from 1 to 9) into every row, every column, and every box in a 9x9 matrix. Solutions are included at the back of the book. I'm tucking one of these slim volumes into each of my teen sons' stockings ... hmmm, may pick up one for myself too. Definitely addictive!
