The intricate and convoluted scenario is breathtakingly daring, involving the FBI, near-death experiences, the Vatican, modern-day Vikings and trained-to-kill wolf-dogs! While the plot seems to dart from one happening to another, Liparulo ties everything together neatly but horrifically. Two FBI agents put their lives on the line to stop brutal murders, including that of someone very close to one of them. As they step outside the confines of the FBI, they confront adversaries who are what they seem to be – as well as those who definitely are not what they seem to be. Has the Antichrist really arrived among us? What has led to his appearance? Does he have followers? Who are they? And why do they follow him?
