he has rented a beautiful apartment in Washington, D.C. and is enjoying her freedom. At least that's what she keeps telling herself. And what are her interests? osephine Carr's characters work effortlessly together. Anne's family is amazingly understanding, even her ex. And Anne's new-found friend Mary (the building's cleaning woman) is really well drawn. is a light but delightful confection.
