N
ina Pryce takes an extended leave from the army to recover from physical and psychological injuries suffered at the hands of a psychopath. Her estranged husband, Phil Broker, feels that getting her away from the stress of everyday life and the people who inhabit it will help her heal. So he, Nina and their eight-year old daughter Kit head north for peace and quiet.
W
ell, we all know what happens to well-laid plans. The trouble starts when Kit belts the bully of the playground at her new school in the nose. All hell breaks loose as parents enter the fray and tempers flare. Drugs, mayhem, stalking, murder, house invasion, and, yes, even kitten kidnapping surface after a simple punch in the nose. Trying to recover her emotional balance and the use of her blown shoulder, Nina seems remote and unfeeling to her family. When the chips are really down, can she deliver?

huck Logan is the author of five other novels featuring former undercover cop Phil Broker. They are well-written and suspenseful books that uncover the darker side of life, with characters who seem larger than life.
Homefront
is exciting from the first page to the last, with a climax that will leave you breathless. May Logan have many more books featuring Phil Broker and his formidable wife, Nina Pryce.
