Though Blair and Nate's relationship starts this episode red hot, he blows her off to hijack his parents' boat for an illicit cruise with his 'stoner friends'. Still agonizing over being wait listed for Yale, she crashes a 'Yale Loves New York' party, hoping to improve her chances. Sweet little Jenny revels in her new 'bad girl' image, and notches it up a crank or two by hanging out with Raves band members. After puking all over his first show, her brother Dan decides that a rock star's life is not the life for him, while Vanessa searches for a new room-mate (you won't believe who moves in with her, talk about an Odd Couple!) It's frothy, frivolous fun as always, ending close to graduation, with Blair's on-off relationships mostly off again - she comforts herself with the thought that 'nobody knew how to steal the show better than Blair did', and readers can anticipate enjoying watching her do so in the next episode of this terrific teen soap.
