. Altea explains that
Soul Signs
'
may seem a departure for me, a lighthearted journey into a sort of science of the soul rather than a serious exploration of the spirit world
'. She goes on to say that at the heart of this exploration '
are things called energy groups and soul signs
' and that '
if I can help you unravel the mystery of your soul even a little, then you will have been given the key to open the door to profound personal growth
'.
W
ith the help of her '
spirit guide
', Grey Eagle, Altea has broken down the soul into five distinct energy groups: Fire, Earth, Air, Water and Sulphur. According to the author, passion and emotion drive Fire signs; Earth signs are planners and strategists; Air signs are passive and dislike conflicts; Water signs are fluid and easygoing; and Sulphur signs are violent, forceful and often evil. She further types these five groups into thirteen distinct souls. Within the Fire sign, there is the Retrospective soul, the Dreaming soul and the Bright Star soul. Within the Earth sign is the Hunter soul, the Visionary soul and the Warrior soul, and so on. In reading each description you may find that you have character traits from more than one sign. Altea assures us that this is okay, a learning process that you must follow in your path to discovering and accepting who you are and how to interact with the circle of souls around you.
I
nformation is presented in a clear, easily understood manner and Altea provides plenty of questions to ask yourself (as well as various case studies) as she guides you through your soul search. Overall I found the book interesting reading, and it was fun figuring out what type of soul I am. Read with an open mind,
Soul Signs
may well help you to succeed in your personal and professional life and in choosing your desired destiny.
