Revolve
(the New Testament for teen girls written magazine-style) comes an offering for teen boys. When Thomas Nelson publishers polled teens as to why they weren't reading the Bible more often, feedback indicated that teens found it intimidating. This complete New Testament in the New Century Version translation looks like it could be a music and sports magazine, but actually offers a great deal more.

T
hough this version might be criticized for its
bubble gum
approach to the Bible, it seems to me that any format that gets teens reading it is a positive step. My eighteen-year-old daughter's male friends were overwhelmingly positive. They didn't want to give it back! Many suggested that it would be a useful format to give to a new believer or someone curious about the faith.
Refuel
makes a great choice for young men to read and explore the Word of God.
