is fast-paced, hard-hitting, full of suspense, and an all round good read. I normally don't care for a mystery with a strong scientific background. I just don't have that mind bent. But this tale is chock full of scientific data, that was detailed in such a way that I understood and enjoyed it.
W
alker Rios stumbles on a plot to produce superhuman beings using Navajo Indians and purloined uranium-contaminated tank parts. It's a convoluted plot that picks up on the first page and continues to the very end with exciting and complex happenings. Blood thirsty? You'll be more than satisfied. Interested in cock-fighting? Got you covered. Like a love story? Who doesn't? Like a macho but sensitive guy? Got it. This mystery is right up your alley.
R
ios is trying to hide from a mistake he made and can't live with. Amerasian ER doctor Carmen Nguyen, who restored her own motorcycle and rides it like a pro, takes a shine to Rios as she helps him find out what's going on. And a patient with a strange form of leukemia tunnels his way into the doctor's heart. Unusual characters abound and lifetime truths are handed the reader for the price of simply reading a good story. The Colorado Rocky Mountains thrust their peaks upwards and play a big part.
T
he award-winning author has presented his reading public with yet another absorbing story. Don't miss it.
