. One lead, Juliet Nightingale, has recovered from a lightning strike, but is looking for something in life, not sure what. So she takes a summer road trip that takes her to Forget-Me-Not, Alabama.

fter her husband gave up on their marriage, Tallulah Byrd Mayfield and her two daughters moved in with her elderly grandfather, Tennyson. Tallulah found a job at the Forget-Me-Not Library, a magical place where books reveal old, treasured memories. Special library cat Deckle keeps pushing books at Lu but she resists revisiting her past.

uliet meets Tennyson first, asking her to help find young Katy, an old soul who calls him her Papaw. Since Juliet's car has broken down, they give her a place to stay till it's fixed. When the family needs help, she's there for them. Romance is soon in the air for both Juliet and Lu - with Callum and Jake.
O
f course we all know that it will end well for all concerned, but seeing that develop makes for an engaging and enjoyable read.
