Unfortunately, Freddie exacerbates the tensions after hearing frantic shrieks in the woods and calling the cops - who arrest many partying Fortin students! Her popularity zooms at Berm High. When Freddie meets Fortin's handsome Theo Porter (leader of the rival prank team), she takes an instant dislike to him. Pranks escalate. Freddie and her best friend Divya find a body in the woods. The sheriff says suicide but Freddie isn't convinced and investigates. Researching, she digs out a very disturbing poem, The Executioners Three, that seems shockingly relevant. She does find anwers, with the help of her friends, but not before a serial killer unleashes horror on all of them. Luckily Freddie (a big X-Files fan) figures out how to free the ghosts at the center of it all, and makes peace with the memory of her dead father.
