A
s the title hints, it's another of the author's regular holiday offerings, but this time she features Meg's blacksmithing as well as sleuthing skills. Her friend Alec has organized a December weaponsmithing competition and Meg is reluctantly roped in after her mentor Faulk is attacked and injured.
Blades of Glory
will be a reality-TV competition show, starting with six blacksmiths. The two who last till the end will have prizes as winner and runner-up.
A
ll the hammering action takes place at Meg's friend Ragnar's Ragnarshjem estate - and curious crows are everywhere, playing a key role in the events that follow. Someone tampers with the forges to sabotage competitors, and of course there's a murder for Meg (and the crows) to solve. All this with a background of Christmas carols, decorations and goodies.
D
onna Andrews never lets fans down with a Meg Lanslow cozy and this one adds an education on smithing - don't miss it!
