Box's series starring ex-cop Cassie Dewell, single mother of teen Ben. She fought corruption in more than one state, and has ended up as a Private Investigator, based out of Montana, the treasure state. As this episode opens, Cassie has been hired by a wealthy widow in Florida to track down a con man who stole millions from her. The previous PI hired by the woman has disappeared. The trail takes Cassie to a former copper mining town - Anaconda, Montana. Gradually, it becomes clear that her client is hiding something. Another case is even more strange. Adventurers are seeking a buried treasure, based on a poem circulating online. Five of them have died along the way. The client this time claims to be the poem's author, who hires the PI to find him. Along the way, she bumps into Kyle Westergaard, who helped her on a previous case and is searching for the treasure. Cassie needs his help this time too when she comes up against a very charming con man and a very cold killer. After a close shave, all's well that ends well and the treasure is ultimately found.
