is the fifteenth in Allison Brennan's excellent and engaging series starring FBI Agent/profiler Lucy Kincaid.

ucy is happily married to expert hacker Sean Rogan. They live with their dog Bandit and with Sean's son Jesse, whose mother Madison died in the previous episode,
Too Far Gone
. Though Madison's wealthy parents fought hard for custody of Jesse, he chose to spend most of his time with his newly discovered father.

Nothing to Hide
opens, Lucy is partnered in an investigation with sheriff's deputy investigator Jerry Walker, who has no time for the FBI. Slowly and steadily she proves her worth as they attempt to discover anything to link three murder victims killed with the same M.O. ... before there is a fourth. Lucy believes in the value of profiling, which Jerry has no time for. She persists.
I
n parallel with this, Jesse is endangered by trying to help his new friend Brian, who's being pulled into the Saints gang by his older brother Jose. Extricating the boys from this mess eventually pulls in Kane as well as Sean and Lucy.
I
enjoy this series for the combination of law enforcement action and strong relationships (family, friends and lovers). Brennan blends both skillfully, pulling reader interest through her stories. Don't miss an excerpt from the next Max Revere thriller,
Abandoned
, at the back of this one.
