aude strides into a posh restaurant, pulls out a gun and proceeds to shoot a man seated at a table. Unfortunately, the bullets hit the wrong man! Or do they? t this point, Maude is on the lam, avoiding everyone, especially those who wear uniforms. Maude is an addictive poker player She uses the skills she has learned at poker to determine just what another person is planning. Not a psychic ability. Simply a lifetime of observing others. Maude has no time for the elite of the city. The secrets of the men in power must be exposed. And Maude knows a lot of secrets.
I
f you are a poker player, you will surely enjoy Jane Stanton Hitchcock's
Bluff
. Don't like poker? No problem. The plot is a very good one. I can guarantee betrayal, larceny, greed, sexual battery, as well as the obligatory murder.
