It's all about activism to end gun violence in the United States. The movement founders were spurred to do something after the terrible mass shooting February 14, 2018 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. People around the world were inspired to see young people standing up to be counted (as they did in the sixties), and marching to demand needed action that their elders have proved themselves unable to take - despite a steady stream of shootings destroying countless lives. These young people have gone on to lead a push for youth voter registration and engagement, so key to maintaining a healthy democracy ... 'please don't just vote / red or blue, / but vote for our friends who will never get a chance to.'
