A mystery reader can't go wrong in picking up a copy and digging right in. Be prepared to enjoy each and every page - and wonder if parts of this plot might have been taken from today's news. Two powerful women join together with one goal in mind. An acquittal. Legendary defense attorney Raquel Rematti is acting for a presidential candidate: former First Lady Angelina Baldesteri, whose late husband was assassinated by ISIS. These two women are both seen by the world as at the top in their professions. Baldesteri is now a United States Senator, but accused of election fraud, tax evasion, and money laundering! These are serious charges against someone who is supposed to be working for her constituents, not lining her own pockets. The two women are not friends, far from it. The monumental ire between them is evident to all in the courtroom. Many long held secrets are in danger of being revealed.
