ow seventeen, Ben commits himself to discovering who could have abducted and strangled his sister. Police are sure she was a victim of a psychopath known as the
Demon
. Ben doesn't agree with the local constabulary. I must mention that Ben is a math geek who is probably too smart for high school classes. As Ben pores over evidence, a school mate, Ro Majors, joins him in tracking the monster who strangled Ben's older sister.

f you are familiar with Faye Kellerman's work, you know you are in for a good read. If she is a new author to you, take my word for it, this book will make you a fan. It's satisfyingly long, full of characters who could have been pulled from real life, suspenseful to the very last page, a thriller to keep you up nights.
