New York Times bestselling author Kate White has done it again with her psychological thriller, Even If It Kills Her. Before you open this book, gather several favorite sandwiches, a couple of pieces of fruit, a carafe of coffee, and maybe a candy bar, preferably chocolate.

Choose the most comfortable chair in the house along with a snuggly throw and maybe a cat to provoke a comfortable sense of well being. You'll need the last while you read the above mentioned book. You definitely will need the supplies because you won't be able to put this book down as you sustain life.

Bailey Weggins regrets losing touch with a best friend after the murder of that friend's whole family! Said friend, Jillian Lowe, managed to complete her college courses and went on to live her life. That proved very hard to do. A young man was arrested for the crime – but there is doubt in Jillian's mind that he really killed her family. After spending ten years in jail, he dies of an infection and Jillian wants to clear his name.

Jillian and Bailey venture to their home town to do some investigating. Of course they run into roadblocks, namely the local police and suspicious residents of this small town.

I won't tell you any more of this thriller. Be ready to discover for yourself what might really have happened. White writes a crisp plot with characters who could live in any small town and who might explode at any time and act completely out of their everyday personae.

Has this happened? Or could the killings have been the act of a complete stranger who was simply passing through? Eat your sandwiches, sip your coffee and enjoy that candy bar early on. Because you may not be able to as the story line proceeds. Enjoy!
