n the dead of winter, forensic handwriting expert Claudia Rose heads to Maine to put her hands on a manuscript about convicted female serial killer Roxanne Becker (yes, women can be serial killers, if so inclined, but they are few and far between).
rofessor Madeleine Maynard is the author of this manuscript and has herself been murdered. Rose is now in Maine to authenticate her work. Using handwriting analysis, Rose will prove that this handwritten non-fiction work was penned by the murdered woman. I must say, the information gleaned from this thriller is vastly intriguing.
