This novelty book folds out to over six feet as it traces the developments in women's clothing design. From a riding costume from 1909, and a Gibson Girl ensemble, to a Gucci dress, and 1970s polyester shirt with bell bottoms, these fashions span the decades.

While one side of the fold features illustrations of each fashion, there is a paragraph of information on the opposite side that describes the piece and its place in history.

This stylish tribute to women's clothing and accessories will not only appeal to youngsters ten years of age and older who are interested in how fashions developed and changed over the years, but adults will also find the book informative.

Anyone teaching a fashion class will want to check the book out and perhaps purchase a copy to display the foldout in the classroom. Librarians will also appreciate the display opportunities the volume offers.
