laire has the uncanny ability to get in trouble. Having a policeman in the family is a huge help. But it can also be a huge detriment at times. Claire is called for jury duty in front of a prosecutor who has a grudge against her husband. She is first humiliated by this man in front of a whole courtroom, then dismissed from the jury to hang her head in shame.
V
owing to right the wrong done her, she offers the defendant her help to prove the woman's innocence. Claire only has two problems. She is beginning to believe that the woman she is trying to help is truly guilty. And, God help us, Claire's mother-in-law, whom she has never met, is coming for a visit!! Maybe prison wouldn't be too bad after all.
