n this latest assignment Kate and Nicholas go undercover to shut down a money laundering operation operated by a casino operator with gambling interests in both Las Vegas and Macau. Evan Trace, catering to mobsters, terrorists and international criminals, is the target. The only way to get to Trace is to pretend to be gambling junket operators catering to the very wealthiest criminals who wish to launder huge sums of money.
A
lthough the scam Kate and Nicholas devise is rather clever, it will need to be tweaked a bit as it becomes obvious that Trace is trying to pull a double cross of his own.
F
rom Vegas to Hawaii and the glittering casinos of Macau, this is a fast paced thriller with some interesting twists and surprises. Kate will have to enlist her father - a retired soldier who believes a rocket launcher can solve just about any
operational
problem - and some other old friends to make this operation a success.

quick read seasoned with humor,
The Scam
is perfect for those looking for a diversion that will take their minds off more pressing matters. This isn't great literature but it sure is fun and this investigative duo is quite captivating.
