lovely sociopath who murdered her own mother becomes Zoe's patient. Intrigued by her, Zoe begins to question what she has been told about her own tragedy. Her adoptive mother is suffering from dementia and is of little help with the questions that Zoe has. She has uncontrollable dreams of a fire night after night. She's afraid she will die in a fire – but maybe the dream comes from her childhood when her house caught fire. She could have died.
T
he more she investigates her own background, the more acute become her feelings of danger. All the while she is trying to help the patient who killed her own mother. After twenty years in institutions, should she be released from the state mental home?
