livia Hughes, accompanied by her young niece, Logan, is on a rather improbable journey. Had you asked her a few months earlier, she would never have dreamed that she'd be heading back to the town in Georgia where her mother grew up. It has been a year since the old woman passed away and it is time to honor her final request to scatter her ashes at a site she mentioned in her will.

or Olivia this trip also provides a respite from a job she doesn't care for, plus it gives her a chance to decide if she really wants to give up her single life for marital bliss.

s she gets to know the small town's inhabitants, Olivia begins to discover some of the secrets of her mother's early life. As she learns more about her family Olivia begins to question her own future. And when Olivia is confronted with a tragedy, she finds herself with the chance to right a terrible wrong and perhaps set her own life on a new and more satisfying path.

his first novel by Carolyn Dingman is a remarkably satisfying story that will give the reader hours of pleasure. Hopefully, this promising, young writer and mother of two daughters is already working on a second title since she has a nice literary touch and creates interesting characters.
