Zoe Kincaid is a very petite college student – about the size of a fourteen-year-old – but in actuality is just over twenty years old. She expected to make friends but it hasn't happened. There have only beenjeering and nasty remarks made about her small size and lack of traces of the womanhood she should have been showing.

A biochemist disappears from her lab with no clues to where she might be. It appears that at least thirty brilliant scientists have disappeared, again with no trace.

Zoe submits to testing to discover why she has stopped growing and discovers that an extremely rare gene is missing in her makeup. It will keep her from maturing physically. If her condition will keep her from aging, would it also prevent her grandfather from getting any older? Her grandfather is the bright light in her life. Her parents are too protective.

Zoe is kidnapped and taken to a very secret spot to undergo more testing to see if the aging gene can be harnessed and used for mankind. Would this be a mistake? Could the planet feed more and more people who hold off death for generations? And could the world financially support retirees who don't move over for those coming behind them?

No Time to Die presents the reader with a new concept. Kira Peikoff does it very well with lots of action and suspense. And a few surprises. Good book.
