rancine McGee's orderly life in the financial world is as far as she can get from the organized chaos of her beloved Uncle Sully's wrestling organization. Indeed, Frankie's mother has made it her mission in life to keep her beloved only child as far away from the pro wrestling circuit as humanly possible. But when Sully needs financial advice to get his failing company back in the black, Frankie can't say no. He has always been there for her whenever she needed him, while her wayward, philandering father has not. Certainly she can spare Sully a few weeks of her time after all he's done for her over the years.

But after only a few days and nights with Frankie, Jack comes to realize that she's the woman with whom he's destined to spend the rest of his life. And Frankie learns that not all wrestlers are brainless muscle-bound hulks or posturing prima donnas.

. Alternating between outright hilarity and touching insight, and peopled with marvelous characters, this book grabs you from the first page and doesn't lose steam until the very end. Frankie is a delight and Jack is a truly nice guy, whose entire adult life has revolved around wrestling (the sport saved his life as a youth), his dedicated fans and his commitment to being a positive role model. You don't have to be a wrestling fan to fall under the spell of this well-written, engaging story.
Got a Hold on You
is an impressive debut and fans of longer contemporary romance should keep a sharp eye out for Pat White's next book!
