At the same time, Beatrice 'Bear' Makuru, a mining troubleshooter and pilot, is in the same region investigating some strange mine explosions. The paths of these two intrepid individuals will cross as they both encounter some terrifying and inexplicable events that suggest they have stumbled into a situation that could threaten the very fabric of the civilized world. If you enjoy novels that combine conspiracies, deep, dark secrets, and violent adventure with a bit of romance, you might like this uneven thriller. Be forewarned, though, that The Secret Chamber already received a number of mixed reviews with many readers saying they didn't really care for it.
