What the man has against her remains a mystery; he barely spares her a glance and acts as if uttering a single word to her is the most painful of tortures. Why she fancies herself in love with him confuses and irritates her no end. Right now, however, Mac's personal issues with her take a back seat to finding her uncle. Mac is not thrilled when he's ordered to work with Delilah to track down the terrorists who've nabbed her uncle. He's bent over backwards to stay away from the beauty and out of her wonderfully tempting orbit. There's no way he'll allow himself to get involved with a woman like her; not again. He's been there and done that with disastrous results. But as a Black Knight, he doesn't have the luxury of picking his missions. His first priority is tracking down and neutralizing terrorists hell bent on causing chaos. Once that mission is accomplished he'll make sure Delilah knows once and for all that he isn't the man for her. Walker conjures up another storyline filled with passion between Mac and Delilah as they try without success to keep their hands off each other. The plotline however, is derivative; terrorists out for revenge - been there done that far too often.
