tory Fischer is a beekeeper who has made a living with her hives of bees and the honey they produce. The Wild Clover, her market, sells her honey and items containing honey to the locals as well as the tourists who descend on the small town in droves. Especially in the early fall where, besides honey, they can lose themselves in a corn maze, buy apples, apple cider and caramel apples.

ome of the residents start to object when a self-proclaimed witch moves into town and plans to hold a ceremony with her coven. Since this witch moved next door to Story's house, the woman has invited Story to join them that evening. A wild scene ensues but I won't tell you what happens. Read it for yourself. Fun. Fun. Fun.

tory has a friend called Pity-Party-Patti. Poor Patti always sees the flip side of life and can't really cope. She uses Story as her Wailing Wall. Patti almost shuts down when a murdered body is found in the corn maze. Patti is sure she and Story can solve the murder without bothering the police. But when push comes to shove, Patti manages to extricate herself from the scene.

by Hannah Reed has a lot of valuable and interesting info on beekeeping, as well as a finely crafted plot with a mystery encapsulated in the author's great sense of humor.
