Shop in Paris, Tennessee is holding a men's-only night for the gentlemen in town to come in and purchase lovely new and vintage lingerie for their special Valentines.
nfortunately when art dealer Hugh Granger shows up, Aunt Arabella definitely is not a happy camper. She and Hugh were an item at one time until he abruptly faded from her life.
e invites everyone in the shop to a big bash that his wife is throwing for his birthday. They decide to throw the past to the winds and go to the party just to see how the other half lives. The main event at the party, though, is Hugh falling from a balcony! Accident? Was he pushed? And why? Of course, he doesn't survive.
is the third of author Meg London's forays into the world of crime. Its delightful plot will keep the reader guessing. Aunt Arabella is easy to like and her niece Emma has her head on straight. Bette, a new puppy, runs through the story and keeps everyone on their toes.
