The unique dystopian story Lissa Price started in Starters ends in Enders. Picking up shortly after the stunning conclusion to Starters, Enders is just as much of a thrill ride.

Callie Woodland may have taken down Prime, but that does not mean the Starters who had the chips inplanted by Prime are safe. These Metals, as they are known, are at more risk than ever as the Old Man – Brockman – can still control their chips ... and turn them into human bombs.

In an effort to stop things once and for all and to keep her younger brother safe, Callie and her friend Michael join forces with Brockman's son Hyden. Hyden is a genius and their only hope of rescuing the Metals, but there are more road blocks along the way than they can imagine. And is Callie's father really communicating through her chip? No matter what happens to her, Callie is determined to get answers.

Enders is just as exciting and action-packed as Starters but Callie is stronger than ever. She and Michael are once again very strong characters. Hyden is, too, but his plan for saving the Metals – on which the crux of the story rests – confused me. Other than this one major pitfall, it's a strong, enticing story.

If you read Starters, you must read Enders to find out what happens to Callie and the other Metals. Lissa Price has created a unique dystopian world that seems so plausible in spots that it is scary.
