fter Second Circuit Court of Appeals nominee, Judge Daniel Brennan, is found murdered in his driveway, a tip sends New Jersey detective Luke Somers after a suspect in the killing, druggie Steven Gallagher. Steven is armed and Luke is forced to shoot him - he's lauded for his action. But it also gives him a very dangerous enemy, the man's brother, Chris Gallagher, member of an elite Marine Force Recon unit.
