ily Teagarden makes beautiful shawls, but business has come to a screaming halt because of the crazy rumour that the woods are haunted. She has plans for the money she makes with her shawls and now must put this mischief to rest. Lily has not seen or even heard from Viscount Roxham, on whom she had a crush when she was sixteen. But in order to get to the bottom of the mystery she must confront Hal and ask for help.

iscount Roxham, also known as Hal or Lord Perfect, has a reputation with the ladies and a love of fun and games. He understands Lily's plight and would like to help her find the mysterious ghosts in the wood since he has himself seen strange lights floating around after dark. Hal is instantly attracted to the now blossomed, prickly Lily and has an idea that she is helping aid the mysterious ghost, but cannot prove it. The Viscount falls for the lovely Lily and wishes he could catch her one way or another.

ou have to love the antics portrayed between the pages of this mischievous book. If you love to smile and laugh and cheer the heroine on, this is the one. The games these two characters play will lighten your heart. I enjoyed the plot, the characters, even the heated romance. If you enjoy Regency romance, add this title to your library.
