I always enjoy author Judy Clemens books – whether they are from her Grim Reaper series or her Stella Crown novels. Leave Tomorrow Behind brings Stella back into our lives. This woman has more energy than has been allotted to her.

She has to cope with a nagging, soon-to-be sister-in-law, her fiancé Nick's serious illness, and her financials in disorder. As if all this weren't enough, a local country star is killed at the county fair. Zach, not only an exhibitor but also Stella's young employee, is implicated.

If you are a fan of Stella's, you know she is tattooed, rides a hog, is a dairy farmer, and is crabby as all get out. You can't help but love her. Nick's sister Miranda is doing her best to have Stella agree to pitch the wedding of the year. She totally ignores Stella and merrily goes ahead with her own idea of what a wedding should be. Makes you want to slap her up alongside the head.

At the county fair, anything that could go wrong does. Life is never easy for Stella. When a dead girl is found buried in a manure pile, Stella can't leave the problem to the police. She is suspected of murder, as is Zach.

You'll have to read Leave Tomorrow Behind to see how Stella manages to bring everything to a happy conclusion. I really enjoy Clemens' wonderful sense of humor. Her storyline always catches you on the first page and doesn't let up 'til the last. So, obtain a copy and settle down for a good read.
