There is only one man she has ever loved, and left so many years ago along with her heart. She turns to him to save her from the Duke. The Earl of Pembroke has been one of the most notorious womanizers in London since he came back from the war. He spends his time drinking, gaming and bedding any woman who will have him. Pembroke only does this so that he can forget his one true love, Arabella. She broke his heart when she betrayed him long ago. She left him waiting the day they were going to run away to be married. But somehow he has been given a second chance as she ended up on his doorstep one evening asking for help. Another summertime read by the poolside, a drink in hand, soaking up the sun - a few hours of complete bliss while reading of past lovers reunited many years later. Love on a Midsummer Night is a very enjoyable and sweet though simplistic tale of romance.
