Wake
, sirens Penn, Lexi and Thea needed to add one to their number, to survive. They enticed sixteen-year-old Gemma, a swimmer with a deep love of the ocean to drink their concoction. It gave her extreme strength, healing, beauty, the ability to breathe underwater, and a siren's need to feed on men. The trio had already killed local boys. Gemma left with them to protect those she loved.

Lullaby
, Gemma's mothering elder sister Harper, Harper's boyfriend Daniel and Gemma's boyfriend Alex sought for her. They brought her home to Capri, followed by the vengeful sirens. But Gemma managed to make a truce with them, after using her powers on Alex, to make him hate her and so assure his safety.
N
ow, as
Tidal
opens, Gemma is running out of time to break the siren curse, though she and Harper find help from an unexpected source. Penn is infatuated with Daniel, who fends her off as best he can, unaffected by her wiles. What Gemma did to Alex has unexpected consequences. And readers learn about Thea and Penn's back story and their mutual love for Bastian.

ll this builds to a tidal wave of action and violence after Harper reluctantly leaves for college (where her new roommate Liv is much more than she seems). Gemma wins her wings and Thea gives her what she has long sought.
Tidal
is an exciting episode that will leave fans very anxious for the series conclusion in
